my empty streets by ~anthonyneal makes for a very personalized brand of self-portrait, and its structure bears the kind of maturity one would see in the works of conceptual artists like Mark Wilkinson. The tightness of its design does not come off as sterile, and the muted colors help set the tone perfectly. (Suggested by ~superink and Featured by `zeruch)

very, very interesting that u decided to do ur self portrait this way. very nicely done, as the overall feel of it is apparent. i'm guessing u used this moody feel and background to depict the way u are? it's really amazing how much texture actually shows on the piece on screen, especially when it's a traditional one...i know traditional materials tend to be harsher and unforgiving, especially without the "undo" button in things like photoshop, lol.

all in all, a very cool piece u did! very one-of-a-kind self portrait and it must've took aLOT of work. really like the textures, shading and mood of the piece. well done!

The figure reminds me of a famous 80s music video, "Take On Me", I'm sure you've seen it. Great work for the medium you used.

Wow the atmosphere is just wild, and still detailed... and I really like the frame you gave it for some reason, it works well with your figure leaning against the wall. And I agree, your hair rocks XD
